Use of Measurement in the Weather
In order for our students to see how we can measure the weather, we must teach them its importance and how we can measure it. First of all, we must teach them the importance of measuring the weather as a way of helping people for their day or if any weather disaster may occur in any place. This Will help to protect places and the life of many people.
Therefore it is important to teach the students different instruments that are used in order to measure the weather like the following examples:
A THERMOMETER measures the air temperature, which helps people to know for example what to wear for the day or what plans they can do.
A WIND VANE which is an instrument that indicates the direction from which the wind is blowing.
AN ANEMOMETER measures the wind speed which can help for weather disasters.
A WEATHER MAP which indicates the atmospheric conditions of the earth's Surface. Meteorologists use this for the weather forecast.
A WEATHER SATELLITES that are used to photograph and track large scale air movements.
